What kind of events do you do?
We do lots! From weddings to parties, product launches to music festivals. Check out our Instagram to see what we have been up to lately: Magic Mirror® . Also check out ProPhoto.ie for our corporate overlords.
Are prints really unlimited?
What this means is that everybody who gets a picture taken in the Magic Mirror® gets 1 x copy of their photo. So if 10 people are in a photo, we print 10 x copies. Guests are free to come back to do more sessions and get more photos taken, no problem as long as they go to the back of the end line ( if there is a line or queue at the time).
How big are the printed photos?
We print 6x4, full size prints. We do not print the smaller 2 x 6 photo strips that are common on the older style, enclosed photo booths.
What is a single and multi-shot?
A “single shot” is where we take just one photo and it prints on the whole page. A “multi-shot” is the fun one. This is where we take four photos and get people to change poses four times. This is great fun. There are four seconds in-between each photo and our staff have great fun encouraging people to change poses.
Do you have any Reviews or Feedback?

What time do you start operating?
We can start when you like, but 9pm is the average and 10 pm is the latest. Once you book in, you get access to your client portal. In that area, you can fill out the job-sheet / questionnaire and let us know all the details about your event. Most venues we are familiar with and know the timings and setup.
What time do you finish?
It depends on when we get started, but 1 am VERY latest. If you choose package A, then midnight (12am) is the cutoff.
When do you arrive at the venue?
We aim to arrive 60 minutes before our start time. This allows us enough time to set up. We are regulars at a lot of hotels and venues ( especially in Wexford), so we can set up within 30 minutes.
Does everybody who use the Magic Mirror® get a copy of the picture?
Yes, they do. If there are ten people in a group photo, we will print 10 copies.
Can you make a custom print template for our event?
Absolutely. Send us your invitation or any artwork that you have and we can work our “magic” and make you a bespoke print template, it is all included and part of the service. Make sure to send artwork in a digital form…. try not to take a photo of your printed invitation and send that to us.
Is there a Photo Album or USB Photo Box for the couple?
Yes - if you get Package C you can choose one option. You can get a look at some samples HERE.
Our reception venue only allows insured suppliers - Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are. We are fully insured for Public Liability up to €7m with O'Loughlin Insurance in Swords. Pop us an email and we can supply our current insurance details.
Are you a legitimate company?
Yes, yes we are. Total Event Photography LTD is us, trading as Magic Mirror®. Our company number in Ireland is 582913. Richie, the owner alone has over a decade in the Event Photography & Printing business. We are actual photographers also so we know our stuff.
Do you bring backup equipment with you?
Yes - absolutely. Unlike a lot of the budget vendors out there, we have the backup gear and knowledge to make sure nothing goes wrong. We always bring backup equipment such as printers to every wedding and event. You just never know when it would be needed.
Can you give a VAT invoice/receipt?
Yes, no problem. Our VAT number is IE3418009DH and unless stated, all prices include VAT.
Do you do any discounts or offers?
We offer discounts for group bookings e.g. work or family groups are booked at the same time. We do special offers from time to time, keep an eye on our social media for them. But most of the time, our prices are our prices. and we offer great value for the level of service that we provide.
Why are you more expensive than other vendors?
You only get one chance at your wedding day. Don't take a gamble on a part-time vendor who's level of service may not be as fantastic as you hoped. We pride ourselves on being a customer focus business. Offering the best service that we can and being reliable means using the best equipment, best-trained staff etc.

I got X price from another company, will you match it?
Our pricing structure is very transparent and great value for money. If you get a quote from another company, we don't match or beat prices as our level is service is a lot different. It is not always easy to compare.
Make sure to ask them if they bring a spare printer, ask to see the custom layouts that they provide and check out their reviews etc. Remember, you get what you pay for.
Can we get a demo or see you at a Wedding Fair?
We attend limited wedding fairs and showcases, mostly around Wexford. Keep an eye on our social media to see if we are attending any upcoming ones.
I need to cancel the booking, can we get the booking fee or deposit back?
The Magic Mirror® is in high demand. The booking fee secures a Magic Mirror® team for your date and means that we refuse other bookings. Booking Fees are non-refundable - however, they can be transferred to another date depending on the timeframe. You can view our terms and conditions when a quote is sent out.
My venue has stairs and no lift, can you still work?
We will have to look at the venue and check it out for you first. If a stairs is wide and a good size, there is a chance that we can work it. We may require the help of some people to carry gear up the stairs.
Whats the difference between Magic Mirror® and a “Selfie mirror”
A selfie mirror may refer to the physical equipment, where as Magic Mirror® is the name of our service and it is also our registered trademark in Ireland. We have many versions of our Magic Mirror® that we manufacture in our Wexford studio. We can custom make a Magic Mirror® for any event.
Do you have a 360 video / photo / spin booth?
Yes, we also have a 360 photo & video booth. Drop us an email for details on that (www.the360.ie) . We will be updating our prices and packages for 2024 to include that option as standard.
